Careers
CSS is seeking a software developer able to effectively
handle the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
At the direction of the Development Lead, provide system
design and coding expertise using the PowerBuilder development
environment in support of client team objectives. Work
will include enhancements to existing code, production
support changes, and new development. Work with a database
analyst and other development team members to modify existing
database tables, stored procedures and triggers as necessary
to provide support for interfaces with other systems.
Required Experience:

3+ years production experience developing
with PowerBuild 8 or later |
| • |
3+ years production experience working Sybase,
ASE, RDBMS |
| • |
3+ years experience in developing database triggers
and stored procedures, working with Unix, C, C++
and JAVA to develop background processes and support
interfaces with other systems. |
| • |
Previous experience migrating client/server applications
to N-tier architecture environments |
| • |
Previous experience taking a lead role in software
architecture and design efforts, including modeling |
| • |
Ability to work with other developers, database
staff, testers and analysts in resolving and identifying
and correcting problems. |
| • |
Interpersonal, oral and written communication
skills to communicate technical issues, understand
business and process requirements, and provide interactive
demonstrations of windows and processes to client
groups and team members. |

BS, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent
combination of education and experience. |
Desired Experience:
• Previous experience with web-enable applications
• Previous experience with Rational’s Unified
Process and Rational Tools
